Al-Rashid: A turning point in social interaction and connecting the business sector with media
Under the patronage of Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Mohieddin Khoja who will launch the events of the "Gulf Media Economic Forum.. Reality and Challenges", organized by Asharqia Chamber ,Dar Al-Yaum and the Federation of GCC Chambers during the period from 17 - 18 May 2011.
The Media Economic Forum 2011 aims to focus on the importance of media economic and its role in the renaissance and the development of the economies of GCC countries.
Chairman of Asharqia Chamber Abdulrahman bin Rashid Al-Rashid, explained the key topics to be covered in the forum including challenges of human resources in specialized media and the impact of training, economic contribution of the media to highlight and support development programs, the impact of media on the economic development and attract foreign investment and transparency and disclosure in the media economy
Stressing on one of the most important objectives of the Forum and its workshop to unite the visions of editors and officials of economic journals and publications issued by the chambers of commerce and industry in the GCCl Countries.
